Rishabh Pant will not be moving to CSK.

There is a major buzz on the internet on Saturday about Rishabh Pant's potential move to five-time IPL-winning franchise Chennai Super Kings from Delhi Capitals ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auction. However, as per the latest reports, the Delhi-based franchise is not ready to release its captain and will be retaining him for another campaign.

As per the report from IANS, Delhi Capitals will be retaining three T20 World Cup 2024 winning stars in their team ahead of the mega auction. These players are Rishabh Pant, Axar Patel, and Kuldeep Yadav. This means Pant's potential move to CSK would not be possible after this. Axar and Kuldeep played a crucial role in India's historic triumph and have been important parts of the DC team. This also means that they would have to release many stars like David Warner, Anrich Nortje, Jake Fraser-McGurk, Lungi Ngidi, and Tristan Stubbs.

He has also smashed a century and 18 fifties. He was the leading run-scorer of the team in the 2024 edition. Pant has captained the side in IPL 2021, 2022, and 2024. He has also taken 75 catches and 38 stumpings as a wicketkeeper for DC. The franchise is yet to win a title and would like to assemble a strong team and end this trophy-less drought in the next edition.
