The CAC committee comprises of Ashok Malhotra, Jatin Paranjape and Sulakshana Naik, with Ashok attending the call virtually as well due to commentary duties.

As per the close source to Sportstak, the cricket board interviewed Gautam Gambhir and WV Raman and the CAC will interview a overseas candidate tomorrow for the same.

Gambhir who is currently mentoring Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) would be the ideal choice to coach India team because under his mentorship, Shreyas Iyer-led side won the title after 10 years. They won the last title in 2014 when Gambhir was the captain.
