Samit Dravid follows in father's footsteps
Samit has displayed remarkable composure under pressure, reminiscent of his father, Rahul Dravid. The former Indian captain has played a pivotal role in mentoring his son, offering guidance and support throughout his cricketing journey. Despite his demanding role as India's head coach, Rahul Dravid has actively participated in Samit's development. This includes notable instances such as Samit's impressive 125-run innings at the U-14 level. Rahul Dravid recently stepped down as India's head coach after a successful tenure that culminated in the T20 World Cup triumph. Under his leadership, India also reached the finals of the World Test Championship and ODI World Cup in 2023.
