BCCI has announced all the squads for the upcoming U-19 tournament

Anvay Dravid, son of legendary India batter Rahul Dravid, has been included in one of the four squads announced by the BCCI for the upcoming U19 One-Day Challenger Trophy that is set to begin from November 5 and will go on till November 11. 

Anvay will be representing Team C in the tournament. Him along with Manikanth Shivanand are the two players in the squad who represent the Karnataka U-19 team. Team C's first clash of the tournament will be against the Vedant Trivedi-led Team B and will be held on November 7, Friday.

Anvay's performance in recent tournaments

The 17-year-old, who is known to bat in the top-order, is undoubtedly one of Karnataka's top talents. He impressed in the Vijay Merchant Trophy (U-16), topping the run-charts with 459 runs from just six matches. He also led the Karnataka team in the Vinoo Mankad Trophy.

Following Samit's footsteps

Anvay is very well following the footsteps of his elder brother, Samit Dravid, who is also a top-order batter and has represented Karnataka in the Maharaja T20 KSCA Trophy.

"The Junior Selection Committee has picked the teams for the upcoming IDFC First Bank Men's U19 One-Day Challenger Trophy to be played in Hyderabad from November 5-11, 2025." BCCI said in a release.
