Indian stylish batter Virat Kohli has announced his retirement from T20Is after Men in Blue recently won the T20 World Cup 2024. Rohit Sharma-led side defeated South Africa in the final to end the 11-year ICC title drought for India. Kohli scored 76 runs in the final of the marquee event which helped team India to win the final by seven runs at Kensington Oval in Barbados on June 29 Saturday. Kohli announced that the final of the marquee event will be his last T20I game for the nation after receiving the Player of the Match trophy.
Now after Kohli, many young cricketers are currently in the line to play on number three for India in T20Is. Here is the list of cricketers who will play on his spot. Here are the six cricketers who can play at number three in T20Is.

India wicketkeeper batter Rishabh Pant will be the most ideal pick to feature for India on number three considering his performance in the recently concluded T20 World Cup. Pant featured on number three in the whole tournament. He scored 171 runs in the marquee event while batting at number three.
Suryakumar Yadav
India's most stylish batter Suryakumar Yadav can be an ideal pick for India on number three because he can dominate bowlers with his ability of playing 360 in the ground. He is arguably the current best T20I Indian batter.
Shubman Gill
India's young batter Shubman Gill can also change his batting position as we witnessed earlier as well. Flexible batter like Gill can surely play the anchor role for India just like Kohli in T20Is. Gill is currently leading team India in the upcoming T20I series against Zimbabwe.
