Former India captain and legendary batter, Sachin Tendulkar turned 50 years old on April 24 (Tuesday). The Master Blaster played international cricket for 22 years and during his reign, he evolved as the 'God of cricket'. Sachin's records are unparalleled - 664 matches, 34,357 runs, 201 wickets, 100 international hundreds and the 2011 ODI World Cup trophy are only a few notable mentions. His legacy will forever be defined by not the number of runs of hundreds he scored but how he made everyone 'believe'.
As Sachin turned 50, wishes poured in from all corners of the world as Master Blaster's fans paid tribute in grand style.
"He came, he played & he conquered hearts for 4 generations! Good days or bad days, no runs or 100 runs, his head was always held high and feet firmly planted on the ground. He taught us that following the right process leads to long-term progress! The legend of legends, he has always been there as a team mate, a friend, a mentor and an elder brother! It is only half century and we want another brilliant hundred from you! HAPPY 50*, SACHIN PAAJI!," Team India batter Mayank Agarwal said in Tweet.
"Happy Birthday @sachin_rt sir. You are our constant source of inspiration and I feel very lucky to be able to learn and interact with you everyday in the MI camp," Suryakumar Yadav said in a Tweet.
