Rohit Sharma wins International Cricketer of the Year Award
India captain Rohit Sharma, who was named the Men's International Cricketer of the Year, was the evening's star. Rohit was deserving of this prestigious award because of his outstanding performances across all formats. Rohit scored a remarkable 1,800 international runs in 2023. His batting in one-day internationals was particularly impressive, as he scored 1,255 runs at an impressive 52.59 average. During the World Cup, Rohit's contributions were crucial. He scored 597 runs and was the tournament's second-highest run scorer. Shreyas Iyer also won the Star Sports T20 leadership award for leading Kolkata Knight Riders to their historic third Indian Premier League title in IPL 2024.
