Tamil Nadu will take part in Elite Group D during the 2026-27 Ranji Trophy season. Their campaign is set to get underway against Rajasthan on October 11, with the four-day encounter running until October 14 as the domestic red-ball tournament returns in October.
Alongside the Ranji Trophy announcement, the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association also named a 25-player probables list for the 2026-27 CK Nayudu Trophy. The decision outlines its plans for both senior and developmental domestic tournaments.
