The Mumbai T20 League 2026 finally reached its conclusion at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Saturday, June 13. In the summit clash ARCS Andheri and MSC Maratha Royals locked horns against each other to deliver a captivating clash.

Winning the toss, ARCS Andheri skipper Shivam Dube chose bowl first, MSC Maratha Royals posted a competitive total of 154/4 after the end of the first innings. Arjun Tendulkar provided an early breakthrough by taking two wickets in a single over during the powerplay, putting the Royals on the backfoot. However, Chinmay Sutar took control of the innings with a mature knock of 61 runs off 52 balls, while skipper Siddhesh Lad made a valiant effort of 33 from 25 before being removed by Dube.
In the second innings, ARCS Andheri found it tough to get going as off-spinner Maxwell Swaminathan forced the batters to take cautious approach during the powerplay. The pressure continued through the middle overs, with left-arm spinner Aditya Dhumal dropping a masterclass spell to keep the batters silent. Divyansh Saxena anchored the chase with a half-century before being dismissed by Tushar Deshpande in the 13th over.
Pragnesh Kanpillewar then played a quick cameo to keep Andheri in the chase, leaving skipper Shivam Dube with the responsibility of finishing the game. However, Deshpande reacted well after being smashed for a six in the 18th over, dismissing Dube for 15 off 10 balls and swinging the momentum back in the Royal's favour.
Big tension on the field
During the last over, the game saw a heated exchange when Gaurav Jathar smashed Irfan Umair for a six before getting out in the very next delivery. The wicket sparked animated celebrations from the bowling team, while Jathar seemed upset as he walked back. A verbal exchange soon broke out between players near the dugout area, forcing the fourth umpire to step in and calm tensions. Meanwhile, ARCS Andheri skipper Dube also acted in a cool manner to defuse the tension, while members from both teams' dugout got involved to calm the situation.
In the end, Rohan Raje held his nerve to deliver an accurate yorker off the final ball of the game to secure a close eight-run wicket for MSC Maratha Royals, helping them defend their title in style.
