Mohammed Shami comeback

Shami recently lashed out at all the fake news claiming that the speedster will miss the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy scheduled to start from November 22.

"Why these type of baseless rumors? I'm working hard and trying my level best to recover. Neither the BCCI nor me have mentioned that I am out of the Border Gavaskar series. I request the public to stop paying attention to such news from unofficial sources. Please stop and don't spread such fake fake fake & fake news,. especially without my statement," wrote Shami on his X account.

As India sets its sights on a historic hat-trick of Test series victories in Australia, Shami's presence will be vital. The Men in Blue have previously triumphed on Australian soil, clinching the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in both the 2018-19 and 2020-21 series.
