Jagadeesan entered the match with the intent to dominate, opening the innings alongside Tushar Raheja. The first over, delivered by Khaleel Ahmed, yielded 10 runs, setting the tone for an aggressive start. However, the real spectacle was yet to unfold. The first ball of the over, delivered by Aman Shekhawat, was a wide delivery, sailing past the boundary for five runs. Undeterred, Shekhawat then bowled a short of a length ball outside off. Jagadeesan slashed the ball hard over the slip cordon for a resounding four. The following delivery was skillfully guided past the point fielder, resulting in another boundary.

It didn't stop there as the intensity continued with the next ball. Jagadeesan powerfully smashed another short of a length delivery over the slip, capitalizing on a slight misfield by the third man fielder. The following ball saw Jagadeesan play a lofted shot, delicately placing it for another boundary through the point region.

Shekhawat attempted to change his line of attack by bowling a delivery on the body. However, Jagadeesan's power prevailed as he slammed the ball through midwicket for yet another four. The final ball of the over witnessed Jagadeesan steer the ball through fine leg, completing a historic over with six consecutive fours.
