Team India wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant is currently undergoing treatment in a private hospital in Dehradun after he was involved in a horrific car accident. On December 30 (Friday), Pant was involved in a devastating accident when his car hit a divider while he was traveling from Delhi to Roorkee. Pant's longtime teammate Ishan Kishan was involved in a Ranji Trophy match for Jharkhand against Services when on the day of the car accident. Kishan only heard about the painful news when he was clicking selfies with fans in the stadium and his one-word initial reaction revealed how shocked the Jharkhand lad was after hearing about the incident.
A startled Kishan said 'kya' (what) as he couldn't believe what he had just heard. The left-handed batter then asked fans "Kya baat kar rahe ho yaar" (What are you saying guys!).
