WATCH: Rahul Dravid plays cricket with NCA ground staff in Bengaluru, spotted bowling yorkers

Gautam Gambhir has been appointed as India's new head coach.

Former India head coach Rahul Dravid who is currently making headlines that he will join Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Rajasthan Royals (RR) for the upcoming season of the tournament as new head coach was seen in NCA Bengaluru. Dravid was spotted playing with the ground staff outside NCA.

 

Dravid's bowling

Dravid who was the former NCA head was spotted playing cricket with ground staff. He was seen playing outside the NCA where the ground staff was batting and Rahul Dravid was bowling fast with a tennis ball.
 

Dravid coached team India from November 2021 to June 2024. His last assignment as a head coach was T20 World Cup 2024 final where India won the title by defeating South Africa in the final at Barbados. This was India's first ICC title after 11 years.  

 

Earlier, Dravid revealed that his weakest moment was the Test series against South Africa, he said that,"We had a great opportunity. We could have won the match by giving a good target, but South Africa played well. They achieved the target in the fourth innings. I would like to say that coming so close to winning the series and not being able to do so was the worst moment in my coaching career."

India's new head coach

 

After Rahul Dravid, BCCI appointed Gautam Gambhir as new India's head coach. He joined the Indian squad before the recently concluded three-match T20I series followed by three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka. India won the T20I series under Suryakumar Yadav's captaincy but Sri Lanka made a comeback in ODIs by defeating Rohit Sharma & Co. 2-0. 

 

Team India's upcoming clash

 

After losing against Bangladesh, team India will now prepare for the upcoming Test series against Bangladesh which will take place in September. India veteran speedster Mohammed Shami will make his comeback from that series. Shami is out of international cricket since ODI World Cup 2023 final against Australia on November 19 at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
