West Indies batters were not up to the mark once again as Australia took just 34.3 overs to bowl out the hosts for 143. On Day 4 of the second Test of the series at National Cricket Stadium, St Georges, Grenada, Caribbean batters failed to put up a fight, chasing a target of 276. Pat Cummins-led Australia took a 2-0 lead in the three-Test series and retained the Frank-Worrel Trophy.

Poor batting show from West Indies
Hazlewood was quick to strike and trapped John Campbell in front of the stumps for a two-ball duck. Mitchell Starc came round the wicket to Keacy Carty and got a nick off his bat that carried to wicketkeeper Carey. In the 10th over, Cummins introudced Beau Webster into the attack and he got an outside edge off Kraigg Brathwaite's bat. Brathwaite departed for a single-digit score in his 100th Test. At the stroke of lunch, Cummins knocked over Brandon King, the half-centurion of first innings.
Just when a partnership was brewing between captain Roston Chase and Shai Hope, Hazlewood got the breakthrough by taking the latter's catch off his own bowling. Hope scored 17 runs from 25 balls. Chase gave up the chase in the 25th over of the innings as he fell to Starc. He scored 34 runs from 41 balls. It did not take much time for others to fall. Justin Greaves became Starc's third victim. Alzarri hit a couple of sixes before falling to Nathan Lyon. The off-spinner wrapped up the proceedings with Shamar and Jayden Seales' wickets as Australia won the match by 133 runs.
Earlier in the Test, Webster (60) and Carey's (63) half-centuries helped Australia post 286 on the board. In reply, King's 75-run knock helped West Indies post 253 and reduce the deficit to 33 runs.
The third and final test of the series will be played at Sabina Park, Kingston, Jamaica.
