Star India spinner Yuzvendra Chahal on August 18 (Thursday) shared a story on his Instagram account asking his fans to not believe in 'rumours' pertaining to his relationship with wife Dhanashree Verma. The Indian leg-spinner in an Instagram story wrote, "A humble request to you all to not believe, in any sort of rumours pertaining to our relationship. Kindly, put an end to it. Love and light to everyone."
Over the last few days, rumours have been circulating on social media about probable friction between Chahal and Dhanashree. However, the latest update by Chahal puts an end to all the conjecture.
Chahal and Dhanashree got married in December 2020. The duo has been very active on their respective social media accounts, often sharing mushy posts showing affection towards each other.
Dhanashree, who is a YouTuber and dance choreographer, has over five million followers on Instagram. She has been often spotted in the stadiums, particularly in the Indian Premier League (IPL), cheering and supporting her better half.
Chahal will lead India's spin battery in the upcoming Aisa Cup. He was rested from the ongoing ODI series between India and Zimbabwe.
