In a series of interesting events, Yuzvendra Chahal has managed to continue his great form despite being out of the Indian setup for a long time. The star leg-spinner is currently representing Northamptonshire in the One-Day Cup and played a big role in their win over Lancashire on Sunday, August 2.
The star spinner finished the game with the figures of 4/60 from his nine over after Northamptonshire posted a strong total of 347/6. Chahal's spell ensured Lancashire were bundled out for just 280, securing a second win for Northamptonshire in the tournament.

Lancashire looked challenged in their pursuit of 348 after Marcus Harris (57) and Joseph Moores (85) rebuilt the innings after an early batting collapse. With the score at 266/5 after 43 overs, the visitors remained in the game.

The match, however, swung dramatically in Northamptonshire's favour once Chahal clinched two wickets in two balls, removing Aarav Shetty and Jack Balderson. His twin strike triggered a collapse as Lancashire lost their remaining five wickets for just 14 runs. Chahal finished the game with four wickets, consisting of the scalp of Harris, and emerged as the best bowler despite coming late into the attack.

Chahal's spell of 4/60 stands out as his best bowling figures so far in the tournament.
