USA has officially announced their 15-man squad for T20 World Cup 2026, which is scheduled to kick off on February 7 across India and Sri Lanka. The selection committee has retained 10 core players from the T20 World Cup 2024 squad.

Monank Patel will once again lead the side as captain, bringing his veteran leadership to the tournament. This marks the USA’s second consecutive appearance in the T20 World Cup, following their historic debut in 2024. During that maiden campaign, the team turned heads by pulling off a stunning upset against Pakistan and securing a spot in the Super 8 stage.

Returning to the squad are Jessy Singh, Andries Gous, Milind Kumar, Shayan Jahangir, Harmeet Singh, Nosthush Kenjige, Shadley Van Schalkwyk, Saurabh Netravalkar, and Ali Khan. These veterans bring essential continuity, particularly Gous, who was the team's top scorer in 2024 with 219 runs, and Netravalkar, who led the bowling attack with a team-high six wickets.
The roster also features fresh talent looking to make a mark on the international stage. Shubham Ranjane is set to make his T20I debut during the tournament, while Mohammad Mohsin and Shehan Jayasuriya are also in line to earn their first international caps for the United States.

But a key player in Aaron Jones was snubbed from the squad as International Cricket Council (ICC) suspended him for alleged match-fixing. The charges stem from his participation in the BIM10 league in Barbados during the 2023-2024 season.
USA has been placed in a formidable Group A, where they will compete against heavyweights India and Pakistan, along with the Netherlands and Namibia. Their tournament begins with a high-profile opening match against India on February 7 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Following the opener, they will travel to Colombo to face Pakistan on February 10, before concluding their group stage matches in Chennai.
