Pakistan has suffered yet another crushing defeat in overseas Test cricket, losing the first Test against the West Indies at Brian Lara Cricket Stadium. Chasing a modest target of 211, Pakistan collapsed and was bundled out for a low score, handing the West Indies a 90-run victory. This marks their eighth consecutive overseas Test loss, setting an unwanted record for the team. Their last overseas win was in July 2023 against Sri Lanka, but since then, Pakistan has lost series in Australia, South Africa, Bangladesh, and now the West Indies, pointing to a significant decline in performance on foreign soil.
