Sammit Dravid impressed by scoring 32 runs off 23 balls for Bengaluru Blasters in a Maharaja Trophy match. He also excelled in under-19 cricket for India and Karnataka.

In a recent Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 match, Samit Dravid, son of the legendary Rahul Dravid, displayed excellent batting skills. He scored 32 runs off 23 balls, including six boundaries, for the Kalyani Bengaluru Blasters against the Hubli Tigers. His style and composure brought memories of his father’s batting elegance.

Samit is the elder of Rahul Dravid’s two sons. In 2024, he earned a place in India's under-19 squad for a multi-format series against Australia, showcasing his growing talent at a young age. He also played a crucial role in Karnataka’s victory in the Cooch Bihar Trophy, making significant contributions with both bat and ball.

During the four-day under-19 tournament, Samit scored 362 runs and took 16 wickets across eight matches. His all-round performance was vital, especially in the final against Mumbai where he took two important wickets. This shows his ability to contribute in different areas of the game.
