Following a seven-wicket victory over West Indies in the second Test to complete cleansweep, Shubman Gill-led India have retained the third position on the World Test Championship (WTC) 2025-27 table.
This is India's fourth win of the current WTC cycle. The two-time WTC finalists are placed below Sri Lanka who have one win and one draw to their name so far. The top spot is occupied by Pat Cummins' Australia who have three wins from as many Tests on the Caribbean tour.
West Indies' winless run continued but they showed signs of improvement in the batting department with John Capmbell and Shai Hope getting past three figures while following on in the second Test on Day 3. They suffered their fifth consecutive loss in the current cycle.
