India pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah was left frustrated after the side lost their review while trying to dismiss West Indies batter John Campbell during Day 4 of the second Test. The left-hand batter was unbeaten on 94 when a delivery from Bumrah hit his pads and it was quite a close call. However, despite the Indian players' appeals, the on-field umpire declared it as not out.
After some discussion between the players, Shubman Gill decided to use the DRS. UltraEdge showed that a spike when t he ball was close to both the bat and the pad. There was no clarity as to what the ball struck first and thus third umpire Alex Wharf told the on-field umpire to stay with his call.

This however, wasn't taken lightly by Bumrah and he expressed his frustration at the stump-mic. “You know it is out, but technology cannot prove it," Bumrah was heard saying on the stump mic.
Campbell scores maiden ton
This could have been a massive wicket for the hosts and it could have also denied Campbell of his first-ever Test hundred. But, the decision didn't end up going their way and the batter soon went on to bring up his maiden hundred in the format. This was Campbell's second hundred in international cricket with his previous one coming in the one-day format. He would eventually go on to lose his wicket for 115 to Ravindra Jadeja, restricting West Indies to 212/3.
However, Shai Hope, who was batting on the other end, would also go on to bring up his century during the second session. It was a fine performance from the batter and it saw the West Indies reach within touching distance of taking the lead for the first time in the match. His 59-run partnership with Roston Chase looked to be solid at one stag e, but Hope failed to continue for long after reaching his hundred. The 31-year-old was sent back to the pavilion by Mohammed Siraj for 103 runs as the visitors fell down to 271/4. It remains to be seen how far will Chase & Co. manage to take their total to as the day progresses.
