Ekta replaces Shreyanka Patil vs UP Warriorz

Replacing the young and dynamic all-rounder Shreyanka Patil, Ekta represented Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in their match against Alyssa Healy's UP Warriorz (UPW) on March 4 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

21-year-old Shreyanka, RCB's top wicket-taker in the WPL's inaugural edition, was sidelined due to a niggle.

RCB kicked off their WPL journey with victories over UPW and Gujarat Giants (GG), securing the top position in the standings. However, defeats against Mumbai Indians (MI) and Delhi Capitals (DC) subsequently dropped them to fourth place.

In the thrilling match between RCB and MI, Shreyanka showcased a moment of brilliance on the field. Her exceptional stop at the boundary thwarted a potential six by MI, showcasing her agility and commitment to her team.
