Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is set to conduct a comprehensive review of India's recent white-ball performances following disappointing tours of Ireland and England. The review meeting, expected to take place in August, will also include discussions on the future of certain members of the support staff under head coach Gautam Gambhir.
BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia confirmed that the board will assess India's recent performances before taking key decisions.

BCCI to review Ireland, England and Zimbabwe performances
Speaking to Cricbuzz, Saikia confirmed that the review meeting will be held in August, although he did not specify an exact date.
The review will cover India's recent white-ball assignments, particularly the tours of Ireland and England, where the team endured a difficult run.
India suffered their first-ever T20I series defeat against Ireland before losing four of the five T20Is against England, with one match ending in a no result. The ODI side, led by Shubman Gill, also lost the three-match series 2-1 against England.
"We will hold the review meeting in August," Saikia said.
While India bounced back by winning the ongoing T20I series against Zimbabwe, the BCCI is expected to analyse the team's performances across all three tours.
Saikia also confirmed that the contracts of a couple of members of the support staff will be reviewed during the meeting.
Support staff and Sri Lanka Test squad also under focus
According to the report, assistant coach Ryan ten Doeschate has requested to be relieved of his duties after completing his initial two-year contract with the Indian team.
Meanwhile, fielding coach T Dilip has also come under scrutiny following India's below-par fielding displays during the UK tour.
The report further stated that India's squad for the upcoming two-match Test series against Sri Lanka will be selected on Tuesday, with the meeting expected to be held virtually.
While the squad is unlikely to witness major changes from the one that faced Afghanistan in June, discussions are expected around the inclusion of Jasprit Bumrah, while Mohammed Siraj is also likely to retain his place.
The selectors are also expected to deliberate on giving Auqib Nabi, the leading wicket-taker in the previous Ranji Trophy season, an opportunity in the Test squad.

Meanwhile, Nitish Kumar Reddy is unlikely to be considered after continuing his rehabilitation for a quadriceps injury at the Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru, although he is expected to be available for India's white-ball assignments later this year.
