DC also signed Scotland's Sarah Bryce for 10 lakh

The two-time finalist Delhi Capitals (DC) added four new players to their squad in the Women's Premier League (WPL) 2025 mini-auction.

DC also bagged Scottish wicketkeeper Sarah Bryce for Rs 10 lakh. They also secured the services of promising Indian talents Nandini Kashyap, N Charani, and Niki Prasad. Among these, N Charani was the most expensive buy, costing the franchise Rs 55 lakh.

Delhi Capitals retained 14 players prior to the auction and had a budget of Rs 2.5 crore. With this strategic buying, DC aim to strengthen their squad and challenge for the WPL title.

Earlier, DC retained the core of their team that reached the final in the previous edition, including captain Meg Lanning, Jemimah Rodriguez, and Shafali Verma. With a balanced lineup, the team is well-positioned to further strengthen their squad through the auction.

In the WPL 2024, the Capitals narrowly missed out on the title, falling short in the final against the Royal Challengers Bangalore. Meanwhile, in WPL 2023 they lost to Mumbai Indians in the final.
