Reacting to the situation, Erling Haaland shared a picture of himself with a tired expression, which had a hilarious caption, which claimed that Messi won't let him touch the World Cup Golden Boot.

Playing in his first major international tournament, Haaland proved his worth by scoring two back-to-back braces in the first two group stage games against Iraq and Senegal respectively. In the third and final group-stage game against France, Haaland was given rest where Norway endured a 4-1 loss.
