The group stage of the FIFA World Cup 2026 has almost reached its conclusion, with the race for the knockout stages producing several memorable moments across the tournament. While a handful of places are still up for grabs, the majority of the Round of 32 lineup has now been confirmed.

Mexico became the first nation to seal qualification for the Round of 32 after topping Group A, while defending champions Argentina also secured top spot in Group J with a game to spare.
