Kylian Mbappe has offered his views on the current Real Madrid manager, Xabi Alonso, and former head coach, Carlo Ancelotti. The Frenchman has worked under both of them and believes both of them are different people who cannot be compared. 

Kylian Mbappe speaks on Carlo Ancelotti vs Xabi Alonso comparisons 

During an in-depth interview with Universo Valdano, the Real Madrid striker stated: 

“They are two different people but… two people who have experienced different things. Two generations of coaches who cross paths.” 

Mbappe further, calling Ancelotti “one of the best coaches in history’ stated that the Brazilian is someone who is always “close” to the players and always tries to “help.” On the other hand, while stating that Alonso is also someone who "wants to help” he stated: 

“He’s a younger coach, someone who has to prove more than Carlo… Carlo doesn’t need to prove anything (laughs)!.”

The France international also stated that Xabi wants to prove himself as a Real Madrid manager and has to “achieve things” with the club. The player also said he and the team would help the 43-year-old former midfielder to win several trophies with Los Blancos. 

Meanwhile, Mbappe recently left the field with some ankle issues, however, the good news is that the World Cup winner will be available for the match against Getafe. The two teams are set to meet in Week 9 of the La Liga after the international break on October 20.
