The social media milestone comes just after Ronaldo set another record by becoming the first football player to score 900 career goals. He also achieved the accomplishment of scoring the winner in Portugal's Nations League match against Croatia. Cristiano was already the most followed person on Instagram, with over 639 million followers, and he now leads the overall following numbers as well.
