In a recent interview with FOX Sports, Trump said:
“I’ve met Messi just recently, and I have known Cristiano, and they have a pretty good life. I think they have a very good life.”
Trump added:
“Actually, much easier than my life. Really, I’d switch. I’d like to switch for about a month or so.”
Trump highlighted his recent encounter with the Argentine forward Messi and his acquaintance with Portuguese icon Ronaldo, framing their celebrated careers as comparatively straightforward amid his own high-pressure public life.
The light-hearted remarks quickly circulated on social media after being shared by news accounts, drawing a mix of amusement and commentary from users online. Neither Messi nor Ronaldo has publicly responded to the comments.
