Pep Guardiola declares Erling Haaland to be as great as Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi
Following this, a feat which no one has achieved before, so far, Guardiola has declared that Haaland is as great as football legends, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. The 54-year-old manager, after the match said:
"Erling is on the same level as Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. In terms of scoring goals, he is an exceptional player.”
Guardiola is impressed with Haaland’s goal-scoring ability. The former FC Barcelona manager, admiring Haaland’s recent milestone, further stated that the team is grateful to have a player like him. When asked if the Norwegian forward can become the all-time record Champions League goalscorer, Guardiola replied:
“In that rhythm yeah.”

Guardiola has stated that the former Borussia Dortmund’s longevity depends on the impact of injuries on him and the number of years he can keep himself away from injuries. The Spanish manager believes that if Haaland continues to play at his best level, Haaland, who is already considered one of the best footballers of this generation, is going to achieve several milestones and become as good as the greatest of all time.
