Lamine Yamal is ready for the FIFA World Cup 2026 hosted across the USA, Canada and Mexico. The Barcelona star has revealed a hilarious bet that everyone has been talking about.
The 2025-26 La Liga winner has a promise that will change his entire look if Spain lifts the World Cup trophy, and fans cannot stop thinking about it.
You won’t believe what Lamine Yamal said he’ll do if Spain wins World Cup
Yamal has made a light-hearted pledge ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup: if La Roja lifts the trophy, the teenager will grow a full beard and mustache for three weeks.
The promise came during a fun segment on Yamal’s YouTube channel, where he was asked what he would do if Spain wins the tournament. He said:
“If we win the World Cup, I promise I’ll grow my beard and mustache for three weeks”.
Initially joking about growing it for a full year, the 18-year-old quickly adjusted to “three weeks” after input from the cameraman, drawing laughs. He also added that he would raffle 100 pairs of Beats by Dre headphones as part of the celebration.
At just 18, Yamal has already established himself as one of world football’s brightest stars following his breakout performances at Euro 2024 and for Barcelona. Spain enters the 2026 tournament in North America as one of the strong contenders, with Yamal expected to play a key role once he fully recovers from a recent hamstring injury.
