The achievement marks one of the strongest league performances in recent Portuguese football history, emphasizing organization and resilience under Mourinho’s leadership. Benfica prioritized consistency and defensive solidity throughout the season, often opting for controlled results rather than chasing maximum points in every fixture.

The title win reinforces Mourinho’s reputation for instilling discipline and tactical discipline in his squads during transitional periods. Widely regarded as one of football’s most successful managers, Mourinho’s time at Benfica appears to be drawing to a close, with speculation already mounting about his next destination.

The unbeaten campaign adds another chapter to his storied career, highlighting his ability to deliver silverware and stability even amid club uncertainty. Meanwhile, as per reports, Mourinho has almost joined his former team, Real Madrid, for the upcoming season, struggling with form and a trophyless season.
