Vozinha joins Colo Colo as a free agent on an 18-month contract, bringing vast experience and leadership to the squad. The move comes after visa complications and a reported late attempt by Moroccan club RS Berkane to hijack the signing. Colo Colo, seeking to strengthen their squad for domestic and continental campaigns, views the veteran as a valuable addition between the posts.

Vozinha is expected to be unveiled by the club in the coming days. The goalkeeper, who gained millions of followers in a night after his performance vs Spain, was a free agent when he came to the limelight. While many eyed the player, Cola Cola was able to seal the deal.
