Phoenix Hyderabad got off to a strong start in the team competition of the AM Green IGPL by winning the IGPL Invitational 2026 in Mauritius. The event, hosted by Leander Paes, was played at the Anahita Golf Course.
Their victory was largely driven by Sachin Baisoya, who was in excellent form throughout the tournament. The 30-year-old shot rounds of 67, 71, and 67 to claim his first-ever AM Green IGPL win and lead his team to the top. Phoenix finished ahead of Atri from Mumbai and RVR Delhi.
Baisoya also took home the individual stroke play title. Young Veer Ganapathy from GolfKonnect Bangalore finished second, while his team ended in ninth place.

Phoenix ended the tournament with a total score of 14-under, just one shot ahead of Atri, who finished at 13-under. RVR Delhi secured third place with a score of 12-under.
In terms of points, Phoenix earned 100, Atri got 90, and RVR received 80. These points will be added up across all AM Green IGPL events to decide the overall team champions at the end of the season. Each event in the league will include a team competition.

The Phoenix team included Sachin Baisoya, Raghav Chugh, Ranjit Singh, and Arjun Bhati. Atri’s lineup featured Olympian Udayan Mane, Aman Raj, Aadil Bedi, and Tushar Pannu. RVR Delhi was represented by Shiv Kapur, Chiragh Kumar, Aryan Roopa Anand, and Gaurav Ghei.
In the team format, only the two best scores from each team counted towards the total each day. Baisoya was the standout performer for Phoenix, with consistent support from Raghav Chugh. For Atri, Aman Raj delivered steady performances throughout, with support from Udayan Mane. RVR Delhi, on the other hand, saw contributions from all four players across the three days.
This tournament also marked the first time a team competition was included alongside stroke play. A total of 40 players were selected by different teams through an auction held earlier in the month.
