What did Ty Dillon have to say on his comeback?

Ty Dillon's last full-time association in the NASCAR Cup Series was with Spire Motorsports which ended in 2023. Since then, he has been racing with multiple teams that include Kaulig, AmeriVet and Richard Childress Racing. Dillon has also strengthened his ties with RCR after signing full-time with Kaulig.

This season, Dillon has also been a part of the Craftsman Truck Series for Rackley W.A.R. However, he has not been able to win any race, he has seen himself in the top 20 multiple times and finished P9 twice.

While making his return to the NASCAR Cup Series, Dillon has a crystal clear thought on racing for Kaulig as he feels he has a bright future with the team.

"I am incredibly grateful for another opportunity to run full-time in the Cup Series, and to be able to do it with the men and women at Kaulig Racing means a lot to me personally. They gave me a chance this year to go out and prove myself in a handful of starts. The team and I were able to connect early on and we put together a few strong runs in the No. 16," Dillon said.

"I’m really looking forward to what 2025 brings with this team. We have a bright future ahead of us and we’re going to give it our all each and every race next season," Dillon added.

On the other hand, Daniel Hemric will not return to the team in the 2025 season.

Daniel Hemric's absence after Ty Dillon signs a full-time contract

Daniel Hemric was signed full-time by Kaulig for the current season after he drove in eight races for them back in 2022. Driving the #32 Chevy, he has featured in the top 10 four times this season. As Ty Dillon makes a comeback to Kaulig, Hemric will no longer serve his duties for the team.

While confirming the news, Hemric shared a heartfelt post on social media saying, "Cup racing, the pinnacle of our sport. I will forever love and appreciate the process of what it takes to prepare, both physically and mentally, to compete on Sundays. However, I will not return to Kaulig Racing in 2025 to continue that process."
