Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh: Indian young shooter Manu Bhaker created history by clinching two medals in a single edition of the Olympics, she became the first ever Indian athlete to win two medals in shooting from Paris Olympics 2024. Sarabjot Singh also clinched the medal with Bhaker.
Reetika Hooda's Debut: Reetika Hooda created history by becoming the first Indian woman to qualify for the Olympics in heavyweight wrestling.
India also felt a heartbreak after Vinesh Phogat disqualified from the Paris Olympics 2024 after reaching the final. However, she had appealed to get at least a silver medal because she won all their bouts.
