Paris Olympics bronze medallist Aman Sehrawat met the lead star Dilip Joshi of his favourite TV show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah on Wednesday, 21 August. Pawan just like hundreds of Indians is a huge fan of the starring Dilip who plays the lead role of Jethalal. The 21-year-old shared a good time with his favorite star and posted photos of him meeting the Gujarati star on his Instagram.
Aman Sehrawat brought glory for the nation winning a bronze medal in men's 57kg freestyle event at the Paris 2024 Olympics. The 21-year-old won a medal in his Olympics debut also becoming India's youngest individual medal winner surpassing PV Sindhu's record at the Rio 2016 Olympics. Aman was the only male wrestler sent from India to the Paris Games and he was able to keep the legacy of Indian wrestlers winning a medal in the Olympics intact.
After winning the bronze, in an exclusive interaction with Sports Tak, Sehrawat revealed his love for watching ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’. The Indian wrestler was asked what he likes to do in his leisure time apart from wrestling.
“When I am not doing wrestling, I love to watch ‘Tarak Mehta ka Ulta Chashma” told Aman to Sports tak.
Sherawat sharing the pictures with Dilip Joshi wrote “Today I felt great meeting Jethalal (Dilip Joshi). Watching him in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah Makes me happy. Thank you so much for paying a visit to me.”
Joshi also took to Instagram to share the photos of their meet. He even gave him Fafda Jalebi a famous street food that the character of TMKOC Jethlal played by Dilip loves to eat and has become a cult symbol of the show. He wrote

Replying to Aman's post on his story Dilip wrote "Honoured to have met and spent time with Aman Sehrawat. What an inspiration".
Aman has won several international medals, including gold medals in the U23 World Championship and the U23 Asian Championship, as well as a bronze medal at the 19th Asian Games in 2023. The youngster has been proving himself at an early age showcasing a glimpse of his bright career.
