Sabalenka has become the fifth player in Miami Open history to win 10 or more consecutive matches without dropping a set, joining tennis legends Chris Evert, Steffi Graf, Martina Hingis, and Serena Williams in the record books.

The Belarusian star achieved the feat during her dominant run at the 2026 WTA event, extending her unbeaten streak at the hard-court tournament while barely being tested in most outings. Sabalenka's latest victories underscore her growing supremacy on the surface, with the streak highlighting her powerful baseline game and mental resilience.

The accomplishment places her alongside some of the greatest names in women's tennis, a list described as absolutely wild, given the prestige and competitiveness of the Miami Open. The record came before she set the stage for a highly anticipated semifinal clash against Elena Rybakina, beating her rival to reach the final and face Coco Gauff for the battle of the title.
