Chiefs vs Giants: Who leads the head-to-head?

Sunday’s meeting between the Chiefs and the Giants will be their sixteenth overall meeting. The Giants lead the head-to-head record with 11-4. Additionally, they are undefeated at home with a 7-0 record. Both teams have faced each other only in the regular season, with their last encounter held in Week 8 of the 2021 season in Kansas City. The Chiefs prevailed in their last meeting with a score of 20-17.

While the Chiefs have not won a single game yet, the opponents are also 2-0 this season as they both try to keep it intact. The winless Chiefs’ star Mahomes is playing alongside a short-handed group of receivers, but the franchise is also hopeful that wide receivers Xavier Worthy and Jalen Royals will return for Sunday's game.

For the Chiefs this season, the franchise began their season against Los Angeles with a score of 27-21, in Brazil. The loss was followed by another one against the Super Bowl defending champions, the Philadelphia Eagles, by  20-17. On the other hand, the Giants, who are 0-2 for the seventh time in nine seasons, fell short to the Washington Commanders with 21-6. They then lost to the Dallas Cowboys, 40-37, in overtime at AT&T Stadium.
