Dallas Cowboys’ Marshawn Kneeland has sadly passed away at just 24, and a shocking report has come out following his passing. The late defensive end texted his parents his final goodbye as his girlfriend was on the phone with 911, as reported by TMZ.

According to TMZ Sports’ exclusive, Kneeland’s girlfriend revealed that he had suffered from mental issues in the past. The aforementioned report stated:
"The girlfriend said Kneeland was armed and had a history of mental issues.”
The report further quoted the girlfriend saying to the cops that he would “End It All.”
TMZ obtained police dispatch audio regarding Marshawn’s death, in which there was a clip from Wednesday night in which, as per TMZ, operators in Texas are heard relaying information from Kneeland's girlfriend. The report further says that the late NFL player’s girlfriend received a message that was concerning, and she was trying to connect with Kneeland’s agent.

According to TMZ, the dispatch also revealed that the NFL called Plano PD for one of its players, stating the "subject is texting his family goodbye." It then mentioned being on the phone with the Cowboys.
As per the aforementioned report, Kneeland’s body was found around 1:30 am, which has been reported to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. According to police in a Dallas suburb, the 24-year-old died of an apparent suicide. He is reported to have evaded the authorities in his vehicle and fled the scene of an accident on foot.
