Super Bowl 2026 is set as the National Football League (NFL) 2025-26 season moves towards its conclusion. Earlier, the college football season ended when the Indiana Hoosiers beat the Miami Hurricanes 27-21 at Hard Rock Stadium to claim their first national title. 

NFL 2025-26 is also left with just one championship game, after five months and 284 games, where the two, the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks, will fight for the title of Super Bowl LX. Ahead of the annual game, a look at the Patriots’ Super Bowl records, appearances, and more. 

New England Patriots Super Bowl records: When was their last appearance?

The New England Patriots have the most Super Bowl titles, as they have seven Lombardi Trophies. Tom Brady claimed his six Super Bowl titles with the Patriots while his seventh came with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. 

The Past will beappearing for a record 12th time in the annual championship game, which is the most by any franchise. With another appearance at theLevi's Stadium in California for Super Bowl LX on February 8, 2026, the bar will be set higher as they already hold records. 

With a record 11 times in the Super Bowl championship games, they have won six and lost five. Their first one came in 1985 when they beat the Chicago Bears. Their last came in 2018 when they beat the Los Angeles Rams.
