Story Highlights:

Love sidesteps Pat McAfee’s question about whether this will be his final season at Notre Dame.

The star RB credits CJ Carr’s mental growth and playmaking as key to the Fighting Irish’s success.

Jeremiyah is going through an amazing season at Notre Dame and is in the talks for the Heisman Trophy. On Wednesday, Love appeared on the "Pat McAfee Show" and gave some insight into the season.

However, when McAfee questioned Love if this season would be his last at the collegiate level, the Notre Dame star hilariously avoided the question.

"I got one more year of eligibility left after this," Love said, but didn't give a definitive answer to McAfee.

McAfee then claimed that Love could potentially end up with several Notre Dame records if he chooses to stay with the program. The expert also said Love could be recognised as a possible Hall of Famer for the Fighting Irish.

Love has registered 1,135 yards and 14 touchdowns on 177 carries, while adding 274 yards and three TDs on 26 receptions.

Love has helped Notre Dame to an 8-2 record and a No.9 rank this season, with the team in contention to make the College Football Playoff.

In his appearance on the "Pat McAfee Show," Jeremiah Love also lavished praise on Notre Dame quarterback CJ Carr.

“Since game one, I’ve just seen a ton of improvement from CJ," Love said, "He’s always been a baller. He’s always been able to make the difficult throws. He’s never been the type to cower down or be scared of any defense. CJ has been elevating mentally every single game. I feel like every single game, he’s just getting smarter.”

Love's Notre Dame will face Syracuse in Week 13 of the season on Saturday. The Fighting Irish will travel to lock horns with Stanford on November 29 for their regular season finale.
