Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders had a difficult night on Sunday. He made his regular-season debut against the Baltimore Ravens, his home was broken into. The incident happened at 6:46 pm ET.
Police said about $200,000 worth of property was stolen from his Ohio home. The security clip released by TMZ on Tuesday showcased three masked men entering the house. The robbery went for 12 minutes and the burglars left with several items.
The Medina County Sheriff's office is reviewing the incident and is trying to find the suspects. Police have not revealed what was taken from Sanders' home. However, reports suggest that luxury goods and valuables were stolen.
Sanders took over fellow rookie signal-caller Dillon Gabriel after he left with a concussion. He played the whole second half but struggled, completing only 4 of 16 passes for 47 yards with no touchdowns and one interception. The Browns lost 23-16.
Shedeur Sanders will start for Browns' Week 12 clash
The Cleveland Browns will face the Las Vegas Raiders at the Allegiant Stadium, on Sunday.
Shedeur Sanders will receive his first start after stepping in midgame during the Week 11 defeat against Baltimore, as per Browns insider Mary Kay Cabot.
“Browns Shedeur Sanders is expected to start Sunday’s game in Las Vegas with Dillon Gabriel in the concussion protocol,” Cabot reported. “Barring something unexpected, Sanders will make his starting debut, becoming the 42nd Browns starter since 1999,” Cabot tweeted on Monday.
Shedeur was drafted by the Browns after his collegiate career at Jackson State and Colorado, where he played under the guidance of his father, Deion Sanders.
