India won another silver medal in shooting events at Asian Games 2026. The trio of Neeru Dhanda, Aashima Ahlawat and Manisha Keer claimed a silver medal in women's trap event on September 29. This is India's first medal on Day 11 at the games.

India scored three more points to beat Kuwaiti team – Alhawal Shahad, Abdulmalik Hajar and Alhawal Sarah – which bagged a bronze medal with a combined total of 325 points. The Chinese trio of Liu Shanshan, Sun Yunong and Zhu Jingyu were way ahead of India with 346 points. Qatar missed out on a bronze medal by just one point.

Neeru scored 118 points whereas Aashima and Manisha scored 106 and 104 points respectively. Neeru also booked her spot in the final. She finished at the top alongside Qatar's Ray Basil. The 118 points she accumulated is a qualification Games record. 

Ahlawat and Keer couldn't make It to the final of the individual event as they finished 16th and 23rd respectively.
