The 2024 NBA Media Day has arrived, marking the official start of the preseason with a blend of excitement, picture day, and homecoming all in one. During this event, players, coaches, and executives will share their thoughts and expectations for the upcoming season.
The Celtics and Nuggets already began the celebrations last week with their media days, gearing up for the NBA Abu Dhabi games on October 5. Monday will see the rest of the league join in for the 2024-2025 season kickoff.
What Is NBA Media Day?
NBA Media Day serves as a first look for fans at their favorite teams, providing an open forum for media access to players and staff. Beyond interviews, it’s also the time when players pose for their season photos, leading to memorable moments often shared on social media. Jimmy Butler has become particularly known for his creative takes during this tradition.
