The Las Vegas Aces took a commanding lead in Game 2 of the WNBA Finals 2025 after beating the Phoenix Mercury with a score of 91-78 on Sunday, October 5. The No. 2 seed Aces are now 2-0 in the best-of-seven-series. Game 3 will be played in Phoenix and it is now to be seen if Mercury can take the home advantage.
The winning sides’ superstar trio of A’ja Wilson, Jackie Young and Chelsea Gray were the players of the game who went unstoppable to give the team a 2-0 lead. Wilson recorded 28 points and 14 rebounds, while Young had 32 points and eight rebounds, and Gray scored 10 points and 10 assists. Together, they combined for 70 of the Aces' 91 points. The Aces are just two games away from claiming the title.
