The Dallas Mavericks have eight players listed on their injury report as Anthony Davis will be sidelined from the clash against Pistons. He suffered a left adductor strain during his Mavericks debut on February 8. Davis was assigned to Mavericks' G League team on Monday as he practiced 5-on-5 with Texas Legends before being called back by the Mavericks. 

According to ESPN's Tim McMahon, he reported that Davis will return as early as next week but there are talks within the organization that he might be called out of injury. 

On the other hand, Caleb Martin will be missing his second consecutive clash after playing five games on the trot. He was getting healthy after making a return on the court since March 7. Martin suffered a right hip strain injury on Friday in the team's clash against Houston Rockets. Players such as Dereck Lively II, Daniel Gafford, Dante Exum, Kyrie Irving and Olivier-Maxence Prosper are listed on the injury report. 

Lively is recovering from right ankle stress injury since January. Gafford has been dealing with a right knee sprain since February, Irving has been ruled out of the season with a left knee sprain, Exum has left-hand fracture and Prosper is recovering from right wrist surgery. Brandon Williams is the last player who is listed on the injury report and is a probable for the clash against Pistons.

They have lost 11 games out of the 13 games they have played and are on a four-game losing streak ahead of the clash against the Pistons. The Detroit Pistons are -8.5-point favorites with a -370 money line.
