LeBron James and his son Bronny James have established a working relationship during the preseason as Los Angeles Lakers teammates. Like any other rookie, Bronny is trying hard to make his mark in the National Basketball Association (NBA) and the best part is that his dad is also present as one of the veterans. Bronny got mentorship from the four-time MVP.

What was the two-word reaction from LeBron James?

It was much needed for the youngster as he had a tough start in the preseason. Bronny was not able to impress until his last game where he got to play for 35 minutes. LeBron opened up on his time with Bronny on Instagram and summed it up in two words.

"The Blueprint," LeBron wrote on his Instagram story. The picture featured LeBron and his son Bronny.

The picture was from Lakers 132-74 loss to the Warriors. Bronny registered 17 points on 7 of 17 shooting, four rebounds and three steals. It was by far his best performance in the preseason. His father and other rotation players rested during the game.

Bronny won't get to see his dad as much as he did during his last game. The Lakers rookie will spend his time in the G League with the South Bay Lakers and will not make it to the LA's rotation.

LeBron James coaches his son Bronny

LeBron James did not play the last two games of the Lakers' preseason and also missed the action against the Phoenix Suns. He did make the trip to Phoenix along with his son who got the chance to have some floor time. Bronny spent time in the fourth quarter close to Anthony Davis and D'Angelo Russell. Meanwhile, the Suns had Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal in action for them.

LeBron James did not feature much but he was his son's ear throughout the game as from the sidelines he was seen coaching Bronny, whenever he stepped foot on the court.

Bronny had a decent outing against Phoenix as LA recorded a 128-122 OT comeback win. Dalton Knecht's also had 20 straight points.
