Doncic reacted with a classic Rasheed Wallace catchphrase after disagreeing with a foul call that sent Giannis to the line.

The Lakers star’s moment came as Antetokounmpo missed both free throws, including an airball, late in the third quarter.

Luka Doncic made his feelings clear after Giannis Antetokounmpo missed a free throw during the game between the LA Lakers and Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday. The Lakers were in the last game of their five-game road trip, taking it to the Bucks to earn a 119-125 win.

Luka Doncic yells "Ball don't lie"

In the dying moments of the third quarter, Doncic was called for a foul on Antetokounmpo sending "The Greek Freak" to the free-throw line. The Lakers star had a verbal spat with the referees that it was not a foul, though his protests were not beneficial.

Luckily for Doncic and the Lakers, Antetokounmpo missed both free throws. The second attempt was even an airball, prompting a diabolical reaction from "Luka Magic"

"Ball don't lie!," Doncic yelled.

The phrase has been used commonly in the playground way back then, though it was made famous by Rasheed Wallace in 2012. Wallace was whistled for a technical foul after pushing Luis Scola during a game between the New York Knicks and Phoenix Suns.

Gorgan Dragic went to the free-throw line to shoot the technical shot, but he clanked it. Wallace would then yell, "Ball Don't lie," which echoed in the entire Madison Square Garden. He was quickly called for a second technical foul and was ejected from the game after less than two minutes on the court.

In Luka Doncic's case, he argued that the ball was not lying since Giannis Antetokounmpo missed both free throws. The phrase remains popular, though it can be pointed out that Antetokounmpo is not one the best free-throw shooters in the NBA, and him missing two and airballing one is not a surprising incident.
