The Miami Heat will lock horns against Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday, April 3 at the Kaseya Center. The Miami Heat have already secured a spot in the playoff after beating Boston Celtics (124-103) on Wednesday. All eyes would be on whether Tyler Herro and Andrew Wiggins, whether they start against Memphis Grizzlies or not.
Will Tyler Herro and Andrew Wiggins play against Memphis Grizzlies?
By defeating the Celtics, the Heat ended their 10 game unbeaten streak which is the longest this season. Not just this, they even extended their own winning streak to six games. Miami have been without Andrew Wiggins, who has been out of the action since March 27.
Wiggins has been sidelined due to a tendinopathy in his right hamstring and has not played the previous three games against the Boston, Philadelphia 76ers and the Washington Wizards. It looks like Wiggins will miss the clash against the Grizzlies. The Memphis Grizzlies lost their previous game to Golden State Warriors after Stephen Curry notched up 52 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists.
The good news for the Miami Heat is that Herro has returned back to form. He led the team in points, rebounds and assists on Wednesday as he recorded 25 points, nine assists and six rebounds.
Herro has been in great form as he scored at least 27 points in four of the last five game and even crossed the 30-point mark twice. Herro has played a total of 73 games this season as he averages 23.7 points, 5.2 rebounds, 5.6 assists and 0.9 steals per game. Wiggins on the other hand has played 15 games so far this season as he averages 17.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 0.9 steals per game.
The Miami Heat are placed ninth in the Eastern Conference with a record of 35-41 and are on a six game winning streak. The Memphis Grizzlies see themselves eighth in the Western Conference with a record of 44-32 and are on a four game losing streak.
